When we started planning the refurbishment of our 35′ Bertram in Samoa we ran across some parts for our Yanmars that couldn’t be readily found in Samoa, or Australia or New Zealand where we often source parts. So I begin to search on-line and ran across HDI Marine, finding the part we needed.
I submitted a query about the part, received a quick response, and things rapidly came to shape. Questions were asked, answered, and before I knew it the Hot1Kit was in FedEx headed to Apia, Samoa.
It was great working with both Hailey and Steve from the time I submitted my initial query and they had the item ready, shipped, and provided a tracking number.
It can be a challenge finding parts for a place like Samoa, let alone having them shipped there from the U.S. The entire experience went off without any issues or challenges.

Our Yanmar exhaust mixing elbow cracked at the beginning of our month long sailing vacation, and we sailed into a local guest moorage. Called HDI Marine, and Hailey got us set up with a 316 stainless replacement, shipped that afternoon FedEx, and we were back out on the water the next day! Hailey knew exactly what we needed, answered all my questions, and we cannot thank her enough! I highly recommend HDI Marine for exhaust components!
